I AM A BEAUTIFUL MESS There are days when I feel brilliant, witty and yes....CHAOTIC. On these days, I take up my pen. A pen, I must add, that becomes either my friend or foe. And then I trust it to entertain, ME. And yet, I bask in the guilty pleasure of a like minded soul who happens upon my musings who savors my decadence....my discord. Oh, but the written word.....what strength you give me! As I draw in a steadying breathe I let forth my arrow of distain against mine enemies.....I cure their injustices as I dig my own grave. I have CHOSEN to live my life WITHOUT reserve. For regrets become an old womans tears. But my dreams....these I can only whisper so as my ears are my only witness. Here is where my true beauty resides...for I am an unapologetic daydreamer. If you ask me what becomes of daydreaming I can only shout,......EVERYTHING! Its true essence is to goad us into action, adventure and might I say...love. Like a book read on a lazy unfettered afternoon, daydreaming has its virtues. So today I shall drink wine and cut a generous slice of cake as I finish up my latest good read / daydream. With a wild abandon I will live through my favorite character with the promise of a grand adventure. I will adopt their insights and fly with their inspirations. I shall be courageous and lest I say....daring...And when the heroine gets her Darcy (and the heroine ALWAYS gets her Darcy) I shall become exuberant from her hearts capture. Oh, how I shall blush as I entertain romantic secrets that only to My True Love will I reveal. Yes. .....I AM a beautiful mess that will take a great love to be able to understand my true measure....But.... to thee, My Cherished Love....... is where my loyalty stands and my heart..... awaits .
