“I AM ALIVE” THE MASTER SAID. The garden story that we have known With Eve and Adam, God had shown Incarnate birth from David’s Line And Mary’s child was God Divine. From Sinai, came the Lord’s command, Thou shall not this, thou shall not that. And if perchance they follow God’s hand Reward would be the Promised Land. The time would pass, and prophets foretold Of Messianic prophecies, a virgin birth would hold. To Palestine’s land, when Roman rule was game, In human flesh a son, God’s Incarnate became. For thirty years amongst us dwelt The child of Nazareth upheld. His message of Salvation taught Healing and pardon, though death has bought. Upon a lowly colt He rode Into Jerusalem, so men could try. The Son of God in human form So prophecies might be fulfilled. The Passover doth now draw nigh, Go to the town you’ll find this guy. Tell him the Master’s hours at hand His home is where the feast doth stand. He then with the disciples twelve The communion sacrament upheld. Looking at her, “Woman” he said “Behold thy son”, thus John is blest. The pain of sin, for it was whence, Eloi, Lama, Sabachthani, he had cried thence. Then crying aloud, he gives his ghost So man from God, is ne’er forlorn. And at his passing, the earth did quake the temple’s veil rent, the rocks they brake. The graves of saints, stood open wide Who rose and walked to town, to be in sight. For three long days he laid entombed, The power of God, death could not hold. Destroy this temple and “I will it raise In just three days”, so God be praised. The earth did quake, the stone was rolled, The woman at the tomb was told. Why seek the live, amongst the dead I am alive, the Master said. He resurrects, and shows himself To those he loved and knew so well. He’s coming back, I now must sing Hail, to the master and the King. Damascus road, that Saul trod on A dazzling light, knocked him head on. He’s blinded, questions “Who art thee” The voice it said, Jesus, I’m he. In Patmos, He reveals to John The state of things soon must come on. The Alpha, the Omega, I Come Jesus come, is John’s reply. The mansions He has talked about Eternal home for you could be. If you would live and be the kind, Jesus had lived and taught to be.
