I AM EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE that my work as the interim pastor of the Armenian Evangelical Church of Greater Chicagoland is successfully coming to an end. Successful, because the interims goal is to help a congregation thrive while looking for its next permanent pastor. The church has successfully located and called a very capable Armenian man, which will be a refreshing change for AEC, both in that he and his wife will bring a much-needed youthful energy to their ministry and they, unlike myself, are Armenians through-and-through. My last sermon there will be given on January 5, which is Armenian Christmas Eve. We will also have communion together, followed by a fellowship meal. Im also told that Dr. B may be there, if he can make it. If any of you are in the area, please know youre welcome to join in! The service begins at 11 a.m. This means that I am currently looking for new ministry opportunities, either as full- or part-time, or even as pulpit supply. Please keep your ears open for possible leads you might send my way. Im happy to send a resume to anyone interested. As it stands, there are some exciting possibilities open to me, but nothing has come close to being settled yet. And to those of you who consistently pray for me, I want to say once again THANK YOU and please dont stop now!
