I AM HAPPY I am happy Not becuz everytin is fine Or easy to define Not becuz Im large Or in charge I am happy Becuz of d peace in my mind Dis joy that is hard to find Becuz my Hrt is filled wit luv And its so easy to 4giv n 4get I am happy Not becuz Im rich Or wealthy Not bcuz Im famous Or pompous I am happy Becuz I am healthy And d air dat I breathe is free Dis joy dat reflects on my face Is a result of divine grace I am happy Not becuz Im perfect Or complete Not becuz Im satisfied Or free of disappointments I am happy Becuz I am contended Dis wonderful freedom dat I enjoy Becuz thru every trial My hrt is strengthened wit hope And it seems so effortless to carry on I am happy Not becuz I dnt make mistakes Or commit blunders Not becuz sorrows dont row Or pain like sea billows roll I am happy Becuz Im not totally alone Dis few people who wnt judge me Nomata wat I do or become I am happy Becuz nomata wat befalls me HE has taught me to say it is well wit my soul.
