I AM PLEADING FOR EACH PERSON READING THIS TO READ THIS ENTIRE - TopicsExpress

I AM PLEADING FOR EACH PERSON READING THIS TO READ THIS ENTIRE POST, THEN SHARE IT IN EVERY WAY YOU POSSIBLY CAN…ON YOUR OWN FACEBOOK PAGE, ON OTHERS’ FACEBOOK PAGES, AND WITH FAMILY, FRIENDS, CO-COWORKERS AND MEMBERS OF YOUR COMMUNITY. 123,429 people are waiting on an organ transplant list. Are you sitting down? 101,246 of those awaiting transplant are hoping and praying for a KIDNEY. Raleigh didn’t want to burden anyone, including me, with the cold hard truth of his debilitating and often deadly condition. There are countless others battling Chronic Kidney Disease, some privately, and some known to the very people reading this post. Our entire lives have been changed forever. The response to our story and plea was FAR BEYOND anything we could have ever begun to imagine. There is astounding goodness, and willingness to help someone in need, in the hearts of many who are following our page. We know that there are many others needing to feel the hope, love, encouragement and support that unfolds on this page every minute of the hour. We have ached and cried reading messages from others who are battling CKD personally or desperately seeking a match for a family member, friend or co-worker that is battling CKD. We have also rejoiced, and found inspiration, from the messages and posts from living donors who have already experienced the joy and fulfillment of saving someone’s life through a living organ donation. We have been touched beyond words by the number of people willing to share their own special need. We have been equally touched, if not more so, by the number of people who want to do all they can to give the gift of life to another person who waits for that life-changing phone call that a match has been found! We have been blessed in ways that I honestly would have never even thought to pray for. The number of people willing to do all they can to save Raleigh’s life still leaves me in a state of awe and amazement. We now find ourselves in a very special place…one that I can’t walk away from, one that I can’t deny and one that I will advocate and facilitate in every way I possibly can. Each week, Brandy and I will feature the story of someone in need of a kidney transplant with hopes that one or more of the caring people following our page will feel compelled to be tested as a match that could save that person’s life. We will also feature the experience and story of someone who has already donated a life-saving kidney to a loved one, friend or stranger. We’re also in the process of establishing a non-profit organization to help others during their transplant journey. ***IMPORTANT: If you, or someone you know, are currently on any waiting list to receive a kidney transplant, please visit our site at: callawaysangels. Choose the CONTACT US link and provide us with your own story of need. We will do all we can to share your story and need, and this very page is an amazing platform to start with! If you have taken the time to read this post, it’s because you care and want to see more lives saved by the kindness of others who care as much as you do. All of you have encouraged, inspired, supported and prayed for us, and there are not enough words to tell you how grateful we are. Please continue to help us by helping others and sharing our page!!!!
