I AM SORRY BUT…. Few of my friends are disturbed by the photographs of Peshawer victims I posted on my Time Line due to gross and graphic nature of these scenes. These are too much for their sensitivity. That is the point! It is not about sensitivity but insensitivity! We cannot close our eyes and assume that everything is right when it is not! Closing eyes and minds in such situations is not only insensitive but heartless! See what we have become! The whole nation is now eager to see lots of bodies hanging from noose! We haven’t learnt anything from this horrific tragedy at all! Like perpetrators of this heinous crime we want revenge not justice! We want to see people hanged in large numbers; hence, we are becoming those we want to punish! The brutal beasts that carried out this horrific act were just the instruments of devils we created. Few weeks ago at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore respected Munawer Hassan of Jamat-e-Islami, who believes that Talibans are ‘shaheed’, propagated ‘Qetal fil llah’ in front of hundreds and thousands of people who chanted and nobody stoned him! In majority of mosques mullals pray for deaths of Hindus, Jews and Christians and we like morons say ‘Amen’ not because we hate them but because we became indifferent; criminals like Hafiz Saeed and Lakhvi who perpetrated equally inhuman acts are freely roaming the country and getting VIP treatment! Outside every mosque these jehadi outfits are collecting donations and we are contributing! All Medrasas are receiving funds from foreign countries and asking thousands of rupees to teach hate in disguise of teaching Quran and we are providing to have wonderful company of ‘Hoors’! This country has become save heaven for all bloody criminals who are free to commit horrible acts in Afghanistan, in Iran, in India, in China, in Central Asia in all over the world and we are just sleeping!.......... No friends these photographs will stay here till, atleast for me, either I become one of these beasts or stand up and say No! And do my duty! We believe that Taliban are not Muslims! Taliban are killing us because they think we are not Muslims! Every one of us thinks others as non Muslim….no authentic Muslim exists anymore! So let us become authentic humans. My friends see these photographs closely; see the expression of astonishment on faces of these slain angles…. Astonished because we failed them! See the gory class rooms, blood everywhere…some of this blood is on our hands too! Closing our eyes, taking of these photographs from my Time Line is not going to wash these bloody stains. THESE PICTURES WILL STAY HERE! NOT TO HURT YOU BUT TO REMIND ME OF OUR COLLECTIVE GUILT! I WON’T BE AN OSTRICH ANYMORE!
