He was delivered there on a charter flight by MOE. On the 15th of January Vladimir Markin, The head of media relations of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, made a statement about Vanya: The Central Investigation Department of the Russian IC initiated criminal proceedings according to articles 365, 105, 30 and 105 of the Criminal Code (use of prohibited means and methods of warfare, murder and attempted murder), against the Ukrainian military illegal actions - shelling of the private houses on the outskirts of Shahtersk, which seriously physically injured nine-year old Vanya Voronov, and killed his five-year old brother Timofey. The investigative committee will do everything possible and impossible to make these Ukrainian warriors pay for their actions; also those who gave directions and orders to fire at peaceful neighbourhoods, and those who obediently performed these obviously criminal acts. I have good news for New Ukrainian heroes: we already know their names. And sooner or later they all have to answer not only for Vanyas suffering and his brother death, but also for all those killed or injured children of Donbass. And if they not going to see maimed and murdered children of Donbass in their dreams, every day and every minute they will be haunted by the fear of the inevitable retribution. All the names of the child-killers we will portray to the public. Their day of judgment will come. Let me remind you, Vanya Ravens got seriously injured on the 2nd of January as a result of New Year congratulations of Ukrainian fascists. According to Komsomolskaya Pravda, the Voronov family went to visit their friends. They were celebrating that they had managed to survive this terrible 2014. In the evening they started gathering to go back home. Timofey was the first, who went into the front yard of the house, Vanya jumped outside afterwards.
