I Am a musician and i am seriously passionate about music and ministry sometimes it makes me tear down. It has been a long journey of ups and downs, disappointments and encouragements, but one thing is for sure, i wont give up even if i wanted to. Then it dawned on me, that if my ultimate satisfaction would be to make it in the industry, i sure might do so, but then what next? I did some deep soul-searching and realized that i am more than the songs i write and there is a whole desire in me that music, money, family, name them will never satisfy. Then i concluded that God who enables us achieve our dreams and desires, is actually the one i most desire. Since then, my chase for purpose fulfillment has been one of contentment, enjoyment and satisfaction; not doing it to outshine anyone or be better than anyone, but more to satisfy my inner longing to be filled by God Himself as i glorify Him through what i love doing. He became my end; not a means to an end.
