I Applied mine heart to Know, and to Search, and to Seek out Wisdom, and the reason [of things], and to know the wickedness of folly, even of foolishness [and] madness: And I find more bitter than death the woman (Babylon, religions of men), whose heart [is] snares and nets, [and] her hands [as] bands: whoso pleaseth God shall Escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her. Blessed [be] the LORD, who hath not given us [as] a prey to their teeth. Our soul is Escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are Escaped. Escaped from them who live in error. For more [are] the children of the desolate( Babylon) than the children of the Married Wife, saith the LORD. Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness. Thou shalt not follow a multitude to [do] evil. They are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock [is] a doctrine of vanities. They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made [others] to hope that they would confirm the word. Say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the Word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!.
