If you enjoy groovy, marching band rock with a sprinkle of queens of the stone age, then you will love Big Paraid. Markit Eight is a "get-off-your-butt and dance the night away with some strange guy/gal" kind of band. Pure drinking music. A Friend Called Fire is the tallest band in Chicago. This powerful 3 piece will show you a good time with your hands in the sky. Ranging between straight boot-stomping rock and beautiful ballads, this band will leave you wanting more. Universeas loud in your face "coheed an cambria" style vocals with speedy punk rock elements behind them. If there is a opening band that can wake you up at 8:30 on a saturday.... they are it.
