I CAN SEE EVERYTHING TURNING AROUND As events kept emerging in the book of Esther, we were kept in a serious suspense. Darkness and gloom seems to be looming over the covenant tribe of Israel as Haman continued his bid to annihilate this nation. Sealed letters have been sent round to destroy the Jews. Gallows have been erected to execute Mordecai. The only hope that is left is in a young queen Esther who cannot see the king unless he sends for her. But God is the one that turns stories around. Once Esther was ready to pay the price – fast and pray and confront the king for favour, heavens was also ready to respond – and it did!. Suddenly, everything CHANGED! Book of remembrance were opened and Mordecai was remembered for once saving the king. The man condemned to the gallows was decorated in a kingly regalia and marched round the city by his very enemy, Haman with the proclamation, Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!(6:11). Eventually the gallows he prepared was used to hang him (7:10). By a reversed order of the king, the Jews who were marked for destruction began to destroy their destroyer. Instead of fear, weeping and confusion that first griped them 8:16-17 says, The Jews had light and gladness, joy and honor. “And in every province and city, wherever the kings command and decree came, the Jews had JOY and GLADNESS, a FEAST and a holiday. Then many of the people of the land became Jews, because fear of the Jews fell upon them.” When Mordecai was to declare a perpetual celebration and a public holiday as a result of this event, 9:21-22 says, “they should celebrate yearly the fourteenth and fifteenth days of the month of Adar, as the days on which the Jews had rest from their enemies, as the month which was TURNED FROM SORROW TO JOY FOR THEM, and FROM MOURNING TO A HOLIDAY; that they should make them days of feasting and joy, of sending presents to one another and gifts to the poor.” All that was planned against the Jews return on the head of the planners (9:25). Friends, I can see the story of Esther replicating itself in your life. God will cause everything to TURN AROUND FOR YOUR GOOD as it did for Esther, Mordecai and the Jews. The God that frustrated the counsel of Haman will frustrate the counsel of your enemies. The same gallows they have erected to execute you shall be rather used for them. Every demonic correspondence circulated in the pit of hell or from the pit of hell ordering your destruction shall be reversed. You will rather destroy your destroyers. I see God turning your mourning into dancing again and lifting your sorrows. Like the Jews, you will have REST, LIGHT, GLADNESS, JOY and HONOR. You will have feast and celebration. Many people became Jews because of what happened in the book of Esther. Many people will become Christians when they hear your testimonies. Go from sorrow to JOY, from mourning to HOLIDAY. Your season of presents and gifts has come. The whole word will celebrate with you. The Zeal of the Lord shall perform it! Halleluyah!
