I DID IT - I found my The Beach. Its at the very bottom of the island, 5km *after* the tiny hamlet where the road ends, no communications, nobody else there, and nobody speaks English. Its a run down 1950s Las Vegas theme motel manifested on the shore of an island paradise. Im living in the big New York boat. The first and last photos are from my deck. Ive been fishing off the rickety pier, and the staff cook the fish for my dinner. Theyve also been teaching me how to roll cigarettes using Thai rolling papers (basically two bits of straw), how to get a hermit crab out of its shell, and plying me with a potent potion of concentrated energy drink and Thai whisky.
