I DIDNT JUST TALK ABOUT IT..I AM DOING IT- 5 years ago I sat at at a cafe opposite my Corporate job and told someone my aim in life. Of all the struggles, ups and downs I have had...I wanted to pass it on. My full time job as a Manager was draining me as the environment was toxic. For a free spirit, being surrounded by negative staff that I managed was eating my soul. I wanted more to my life and at that point in time...I was very very UNHAPPY. Since the age of six; music has been in my life...my dear friend who helped me through so much. MUSIC will always be my first LOVE. As I approached past my 30s, I let it slip by because of RESPONSIBILITIES. Yes, bills and mortgage. Making MONEY became priority and MUSIC took a back seat. And so did the demise of my soul. In 2011; after adopting my one eyed dog Sammy; I took the plunge and QUIT my full time job. Luckily I had the financial and moral support of my ex. Straight after quitting....my body broke down for 12 months. I literally SLEPT and RESTED. The last few years have been a transition to where I am now. I feel that the Universe has been throwing me lessons so I could pass it on. I am now a full time professional Singer, Songwiter and a Small Business Owner of a Singing Performance Technique School that I have opened....a technique that I have designed and is proving to WORK!! I will be working with like minded individuals to create music programs to help others that may not have the financial or moral support. I am doing motivational talks to children about Believing in yourself. I believe that when you surrender to your calling....it will show itself to you. So I say now that...although it can be tough..I have and am perservering through it to achieve my dreams...that is to pass on my knowledge, experience and love of Singing, performance, music and life to others. - May Johnston
