‘I DIDN’T HAVE A GOOD ONE (GOD WINK THAT IS) TODAY’ (REPOST) is what I thought to myself late last night right before going to sleep, after my hubby surprised me, by asking, at dinner with the kids, what God wink did I have to share with them. But then I thought, ‘Nik, you know God is with you!’ and I drifted right off to sleep! Remember yesterday’s post… “Coming to Nigeria has been such a learning experience and the most important lesson is to trust God! “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;” I have such confidence, that I KNOW God goes before me and fights my battles!” This morning I woke up and while still in bed, I opened to the following in my fav meditation book, written as if God is speaking to us, and it said right on that very page: “Eventually, you will learn to relax and enjoy the adventure of our journey together. As long as you stay close to Me, my sovereign Presence protects you wherever you go.” And guess the scripture that followed… “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” Now I know some people will call this a coincidence, but they’re my God winks; my personal reminders from God to relax and enjoy our adventure together! This really is the sweet life! WE GO WITH GOD!
