I DO NOT BELIEVE IN SPANKINGS!! Yes Im going to kick it off because I represent the generation that got all these spankings from you older black folks that SWEAR spankings and beatings work. Spankings alone DO NOT make a better child. You older folks are messed up and were taking out your frustrations on us at times. There is SO much more that goes into raising a well rounded man or woman than spankings. You cant beat the badness out of your kids its just not that easy. You have to teach and lead by example on top of a long list of other things. I do think you can raise a Very successful man or woman without spanking. I had pleanty of friends that had mom and dad and LOTS of spankings but still went down a bad road. Tired of hearing this thinking that the more you beat a kid the better he will be. It seems like overall white people dont spank like we do in our culture. I think some of them end up good and some go down a bad road too. Im not sold on all these spankings thats an old school thinking that needs to change. Im not saying no spankings at all just saying less spankings more teaching. A lot of you older folks are really messed up but will never admit it. So I dont think its okay that AP beat the crap out of that kid. You older folks act like hes a good parent for doing that....
