I DO NOT agree with the decision to award Prince Philip an Australian knighthood over other Australian candidates this Australia Day. I have phoned the Prime Ministers office to clearly express my view. There are so many worthy Australians who deserve such an honour. For example, a posthumous knighthood for Graeme Acton, who did so much for Australias cattle industry. Mr Acton was among Australias greatest modern cattlemen, who deserves to be honoured up there with names like Sir Sidney Kidman.
