I, EVEN I AM he that comforteth you: who ART thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man THAT shall die, and of the son of man WHICH shall be made AS grass; And of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and has not remembered me, nor laid IT to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not? And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the well Lahai-roi. Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: Say ye to the righteous, that IT SHALL be well WITH HIM: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression: for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation. But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right, And hath not oppressed any, BUT hath restored to the debtor his pledge, hath spoiled none by violence, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment. He THAT hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, THAT hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between man and man, Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he IS just, he shall surely live, saith the LORD God. They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they ARE the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
