I Gulped Hard When I Saw Where They Were Sitting. Among Three New Families Who Came Thru Our Doors On Sunday,One Of Them Sat In The Seats Of One Of Our Longest Standing Members. I Knew They Werent Used To The Way We Do Things Cause They Arrived 20 Minutes Early! Our Five Minutes After Crowd Is Tremendous! Im Guessing That This Lady Has Sat In Her Own Personal Seat On The Back Row For 40 Plus Years. We All Have Our Churchhouse Habits. We Park Our Cars In The Same Places & Hang Around The Same Crowd Every Sunday. Homemade Habits R Hard To Break. This Lady On Display Is A Wonderful Woman Of GOD. She Is A Widow Who Educated Several Generations Of Kids As Both A Teacher & A Principal. She Is A Woman Of Integrity & Class Who Demands Respect...& Easily Gets It! Truth Be Told,I Myself Am A Little Afraid Of Her! I Never Go A Week Without Someone In Town Bragging To Me About What A Wonderful Teacher She Was. I Dont Think Her Name Has Ever Been Mentioned Without A Story Of Her Exploits Attached To It. She Comes Thru The Doors Early Sunday Mornings & I Always Learn Something From Her When I Talk To Her. Im A Much Better Boy When Shes In The Room! I Love Her Cause She Never Lets On About Her Physical Problems Cause Shes So Concerned About Everyone Elses Spiritual Needs. Shes The Kinda Lady Who Does A Bunch Of Little Things That Nobody Notices So That Life May Run More Efficiently. Last Sunday Morning She Sat On The Opposite End Of The Same Pew As She Usually Does With The Same Grace & Class That She Always Does. U See...She Understood That The New Family Needed To Be Made To Feel Appreciated. In A Day Where Church People Can Be Really Mean,How Refreshing It Was To See This Lady Love On This Family. R U Willing To Give Up Your Seat So That Others Might Sit Closer To JESUS? Dont Let Your Own Personal Small Potatos Stuff Keep Others From Getting Down Into The Meat Of The Word! Practice Giving Away Your Life So Others Can Gain A Much Better Understanding Of What The Christian Life Is All About. James 2:1-9
