I HAD LOST ALL MY FUR, MY BODY WAS COVERED IN SORES AND EVERY DAY - TopicsExpress

I HAD LOST ALL MY FUR, MY BODY WAS COVERED IN SORES AND EVERY DAY WAS MISERY. THEN THEY TOLD ME I HAD CANCER… I am Ronnie. I am only 5 years old but I have been through so much. Life on the streets meant there was no owner to love me or take me to the vet when I got sick. Despite this, I am one of the lucky ones - I was rescued by Soi Dog supporters. A man called Khun Sanae spotted me one day while in the course of his duties as an Animal Rescue Officer for Soi Dog. He could see what a sad state I was in and wasted no time in getting me to the shelter. When the vets examined me, I heard them say I had demodectic mange, which is very common in tropical climates like ours. I also had a bacterial skin infection and I was anaemic. Then they told me I had something called TVT, a form of cancer easily spread among us street dogs. I am on medicine now and slowly getting better. As well as treating my skin conditions, the vets are giving me chemotherapy to attack my cancerous tumour. They are hopeful I will make a full recovery and the tumour has already started to shrink. All of this was made possible by the Soi Dog supporters whose regular donations are used to rescue and treat sick and injured street animals like me. Without them, I would still be wandering the street in pain. My cancer would have advanced to the point where it was too late to do anything. Sadly, I am just one of many. So many other street dogs and cats are in need of rescuing. They are sick or injured; they have been abused or abandoned. They have nobody to help them. YOU are their only hope. With you on their side, just a few dollars a week will change their world and end their suffering. Please sign up to do this today; you will be making the biggest difference to these lives of misery. All you have to do is click on my picture to find out more. Thank you.
