Networking is connecting with people that you are willing to help as much as you want their help. Networking is approached from a spirit of giving & sharing help. Seeking help isnt networking. Seeking help is seeking help. Networking means the EXCHANGE of information or services. Its not one-sided to serve your purposes only. Dont be so selfish & self-centered when approaching potential peers and mentors - especially in the music business. Successful people dont allow leeches into their lives. Dont be a leech. Be prepared to give as much as you ask of ppl when you claim youre trying to network.
