I HAVE COME TO REALIZE that the Bible is the true word of God - TopicsExpress

I HAVE COME TO REALIZE that the Bible is the true word of God given to mankind to lead man back to God, from whom we have been enstranged due to the wickedness of sin. The Bible is a mirror that shows us ourselves. It is the Bible that is factual about the Spiritual state of every man. The other day a little boy of about two going to three years looked and realizing that there was nobody else around except another boy of the same age, fiercely scratched the latter in the face. The offended wept and ran to the mother. This was repeated several times and each time the offender will pretend as if nothing has happened. One day the offended decided to face the offender in a fierce battle. The surprising thing is that the offender though beaten hands down did not weep or complained. This calls for a sober reflection about the sinfullness of sin. That was the end of the aggression of this three year old towards the other toddler. Then I realized that it is true that we are shapen in iniquity and in sin did our mother conceived us. That everyman is born in wickedness and that we needed to be delivered from the power of inbred sin. We are born with a depraved nature and this is contrary to the nature of God. God is good by nature and man is wicked by nature. That means in our nature of sin we are not in agreement with God. So man is walking and living contrary to God. God counts that as absolute wickedness. That means in that state we cannot relate with God, nor dwell with God in His eternal abode after our sojourn here on earth. The truth of the matter then is eternal punishment in hell. Even though this truth is not civilised these days. But His love (Gods) for creation (mankind) will not permit Him to ignore our plight hence (God) gave us the bible to give a clear solution in Christ Jesus the Saviour. Hence it is written: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life Having or possessing everlasting life means salvation from sin, opportunity to regain righteous living, come in agreement and walk with God. So Jesus became a mediator between man and God. He became simply put, the way back to the father, the truth that is given to set man free and the giver of life abundantly. He became the door to the kingdom of God. He became the giver of eternal life and the entrance to eternal abode of God called Heaven. He became the restorer of broken lives and the propitiation for all our sins. He became the Eternal High Priest interceding for us before the throne of God. Steadfast and unchanging in His work so that we are not consummed. I HAVE COME TO REALIZE that the bible is a step by step guide to take us back to the Father from whom we would have been separated for ever. Why do I say that? It is the only book that has ever pointed to the complete solution to mans problems from cradle to death bed, from death to beyond death or beyond grave, where lies eternity. The saviour came with only one message which is REPENT AND BE CONVERTED. In heaven looking downward He is still overseeing DILLIGENTLY the work of REPENTANCE AND CONVERSION. Crying out and bekonning to sinners to come and take a plunge in the pool of blood of the eternal God (Jesus) that was shed for sin. He, as the lamb that took away our sin, is beckoning to us to avail ourselves of the opportunity to be reconciled to God through His eternal blood. The shed blood is sufficient for the cleansing of all our sins if we all come to Him humbly in repentance. Come to Him today. Tomorrow may be too late.
