I HAVE NOW UNDERSTOOD THE YOUNG MAN FROM BOLE. I have always - TopicsExpress

I HAVE NOW UNDERSTOOD THE YOUNG MAN FROM BOLE. I have always maintained that President Mahama is one of the best things that has ever happened to Ghana, and I still stand by this. I will explain. Time and space will not allow me to chronicle all I need to make my point with, so Im going to zero in on a few achievements of my JM. In the 57 years history of Ghana, managed by over 10 heads of state, we can boast of only two teaching hospitals, Korebu, eii, sorry, Korlebu and Komfo Anokye. Hey, who said Afia Schwarzenegger? As for you people, hmmm, you have a different knowredge about my thoughts. Now, coming to my point, within his term in office, President Mahama has added two more teaching hospitals, Tamale and Legon which is over 90% complete. Since independence, Ghana has only one Millitary hospital, namely 37. President Mahama has added another one in Kumasi which is near completion. In the entire life of our country under about 10 leaders, Ghana has about 530 Senior High Schools which gives an average of 53 schools per head of state. President Mahama in an effort to make Ghana better, is building 200 Senior High Schools, 73 of these are at various levels of completion. This is four times the average of what any other head of state has achieved in the history of our country. Since independence, we have only one International Airport, Kotoka. The young man from Bole is expanding the Tamale Airport into an international one, and very soon, our Muslim friends from the north would have to unprecedentedly fly straight from Tamale to Mecca without the usual struggle and frustrations. For the first time in the history of Ghana, President Mahama has completed a gas plant at Atuabo to power our thermal plants and also supply 75% of LPG needed in the country, not to talk of the 3-tier ultra modern Kwame Nkrumah Overpass and the other numerous major projects going on across the length and breadth of this country. If this quintessential, intelligent and talented young man from Bole can do all these things two years ahead of his term in office, then why did he lament sometime ago that being a president of Ghana is a difficult thing to do? Even though many misunderstood him, I think I have now understood him. While he is gathering, others are scattering. Let me digress a little bit by telling you something about myself. We are five siblings - all men. Three are pastors, and I feel like joining them soon. I think I have a calling too; a strong desire to share whatever I have with people who need them most, and to encourage those going through various forms of afflictions. My heart well up with joy anytime Im able to help others overcome their fears and challenges. And this is the more reason why my heart is wounded and finding it difficult to forgive a few unscrupulous, greedy and shameless ones who are making the retention of the young man of Bole in 2016 difficult by making a whole district mourn. I wonder if those people involved in this wicked, selfish and fiendish act know that somebody collapsed because of their deeds? Are they aware that many are weeping and cursing them for what they have done? Are they aware that many with wounded hearts slept on empty stomachs? It is people like these ones who are making government unpopular. Walaahi, I will have no mercy for the cripple. Im not going to spare anyone, friend or foe, if indeed the pen is mightier than the sword, then you people should watch out. Im sharpening my two-edged sword and will take you on with the very last drop of blood in me in the coming days. What will hit you will be more than what Anas will dream of. The text messages, audio and video recordings, letters, etc., will daze you, and expose you for all to see what and what changed hands. What kind of nonsense is that? You may want to come after me, but as the Apostle Paul would put it, death is gain; it would be a joy to die for a worthy cause. Good must triumph over evil. It is not about Afrane, but the voices of the masses must be respected and the right thing done. JM must succeed. The people of Ghana must see the Better Ghana Agenda fulfilled. I shall return in style! Anthony Obeng Afrane.
