I HEAR THE SOUND OF REVIVAL God wants us to have “Truth In Our Inward Parts,” but all too often we receive and accept a lie as long as it comes with a smiling face. People often equate a person smiling at them and saying “nice” things to them about their situation as loving and kind people. And those people that are direct and speak the truth without beating around the bush as mean or hateful. I’d rather hear the truth myself. It is lots of people who have mastered the art of lying to your face while stabbing you in the back. These people have an inept ability to convince you that those who tell you the truth to your face are not your friends. They will tell you stuff like, “they are joy killers,” “they don’t want to see you happy,” “they just jealous,” “if they your friend, they wouldn’t question you, they would just pray for you,” and such things to cause you to question your friend’s love. Yes, these people smile and convince you through sweet words they love you and have your best interest at heart, but really have your destruction at heart. I GUESS IT LIKE EATING ARSENIC LACED POWERED DONUTS; THEY TASTE SO GOOD BUT DEATH IS ON THEM. You know Eve had this kind of encounter in the Garden. That ole serpent convinces Eve that maybe GOD had lied to her. He told her, “surely you won’t really die,” paraphrasing; “I think you will be smart as God,” Whatever he said, he deceived her; he made her think he had her best interest at heart when he had her and Adam’s destruction at heart GENESIS 2. The LORD JESUS said “Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.” John 7:24. “Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one’s praise will come from God.” 1 Corinthians 4:5 Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?” The speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing. THEN GOD SAID TO HIM: “BECAUSE YOU HAVE ASKED THIS THING, AND HAVE NOT ASKED LONG LIFE FOR YOURSELF, NOR HAVE ASKED RICHES FOR YOURSELF, NOR HAVE ASKED THE LIFE OF YOUR ENEMIES, BUT HAVE ASKED FOR YOURSELF UNDERSTANDING TO DISCERN JUSTICE, behold, I have done according to your words; see, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you. 1 Kings 3:9-12 Therefore if we desperately seek for a feel good to our flesh or a sound good to our ears (ACCEPTANCE), we will end up out of the Will of GOD doing things God never told us to do. STOP BEING SO EASY, REMEMBER, the serpent WAS NICE TO EVE! In addition, I’ve seen it with my own eyes. People branded as mean or hateful because they cut off gossipers who pretend they are concerned but only want to spread gossip; or confronted someone who lied to them or on them; or put a stop to the person who wanted to talk behind another person’s back. All these actions came disguised as “love”, but were “poison” in the inward parts which equals deceit. One sure way to recognize this “Deception” is to ask God for the gift of discernment to discern between good and evil
