I Had Something Serious On My Head This Morning: I Had A - TopicsExpress

I Had Something Serious On My Head This Morning: I Had A Comrade & Fellow Artist Named Praverb(RIP) who Returned To The Essence A Couple Of Days Ago. As With Any Passing Comes The Outpouring Of Love & Good Will,Memories & True Thoughts & Emotions Expressed From Everyone Who Knew Him. Some People, Rightfully So, Even Feel Compelled To Help Out The Family Monetarily. In Doing So, In This Case Almost $6000 Was Raised IN ONE DAY To Go Towards His Families Expenses........This Is Humanity At Its Finest. Helping Fellow Man In Their Time Of Need.......... I Love It, But I Hate It At The Same Time. I Hate That We Wait Until Artist Die To Decide To Support Them? Why Does It Take A Man Who Gives His All In His Craft To Give His Life For Some To Tell Him Of His Significance & Influence? Why Can We Muster Up Beautiful Words On A FB Page That He/She Will Never Get To See But Those Words Fail Us When We See These People In Person? As A Artist I Fear 2 Things, Dying Before I Can Tell The World What I Have To Say Thru My Albums, & People NOT Respecting My Albums/Work Until Im Gone Forever. I Can Imagine A lot Of Other Artist Feel This Way. With This Said, I Encourage Everyone To Tag Your Favorite Local Artist(s) & Tell He Or She How His/Her Artistry Has Effected You Or Simply Let Them Know That Their Music Is Appreciated. And To Take It A Step Further Lets Really Show Our Support By Buying These Local Artists Albums,CDs, Merch While They Are Still Living. (Most Of These Things Cost Less Than $20 To Support) #ArtistAppreciation
