I Have Never Lost My Hope Sunday, June 21, 2014 Pastor Ricky Dukes I have never lost my hope. Is that your testimony? Psalm 42 speaks of the hart panting after the water from the brooks. In that same way, our souls long after God. When it seems like the very joy of your salvation has been replaced by discouragement and depression, theres still hope. In times, when you dont know how you will make it through; the affliction is too painful, the bills are mounting; the loved ones are rebelling; and you may feel that all is hopeless. You have to keep your hope in God. Not simply a fairy tale hope, but a deep rooted confident expectation and a firm assurance your Father is working on your behalf. Biblical hope allows you to look past circumstances and give God praise and glory, in spite of what is unclear or unknown. True hope is what you need to keep your soul anchored, when the waves are mounting!! Once you grab hold of the hope we have in God, be prepared to give an answer of hope to those around you who need a beacon in the middle of their own storm! This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope. It is of the Lords mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. Lamentations 3:21-22
