I KNOW. I KNOW I AM A PIT MIX BUT I STILL ASK YOU GIVE ME A CHANCE TO LIVE TOO... I AM BEGGING... My Name Is BALLA and I would love to be seen too. You all have been wonderful to help so many and I beg that you please give a misunderstood and overlooked young girl like me a chance to live another day. Today the officers walked by my cage and put that red stripe down it. The red stripe means that the vet comes in tomorrow and will drag me back to that back room and heart stick me. I am not ready to die. I know my chances are so very slim because not only are they so full here at this shelter but I am a pit mix and no one really thinks we deserve to live. You see though, behind this exterior you were told to hate or not trust.. I am just a pup. I did not ask to be born in such a cruel world. In fact, my only crime it seems is that I was born. A few days ago I was thrown out a moving cars window. I guess they didnt want me either. Now I lie here begging that YOU will give this shy, submissive and very sweet little girl a chance. I know it is a shot in the dark because I am not what most people want but I just hope you will look at my eyes and see into my soul and just know, I want to live. I want to make a family happy. I would like to keep breathing. Tonight I pray that a miracle happens and someone will step up and foster and you all will donate towards me so that tomorrow wont be the last day on earth but the first day of a life I have always dreamed of.
