I KNOW ITS A LITTLE LONG BUT..... The Tahoe that I drive is the first vehicle that I have driven for more than 3 years. We usually lease our vehicles, but purchased the Tahoe because I knew we would be making frequent trips to VA & put on a lot of mileage. In the past I would just go into dealerships and call Officer Wilson to come sign after I had already picked out my color, make, & model! He would fuss but he would sign! It was so bad that the dealership would call me when the new models came out. Well that has changed with two in HU & with 2 apartments----------> Fast forward, last Thursday I took my truck into my dealership for a routine maintenance check up and see what had happened wuzzzzz what I thought was the sound of gravel under the tires was actually me rubbing the bottom of my rear bumper on a brick retainer wall.Ouch! A mess! I called Officer Wilson from the dealership while he was at work to report the accident (I wanted to make sure he took the accident report while he was in uniform LOL!) he said DONT you even go into that showroom it aint happening, youre not getting a new truck, not now! I told him but God said I could! :-) Well I took the truck into the auto-body shop for repairs on Friday & guess what Enterprise gave me to drive as a rental even before he knew what I drove, a 2015 Yukon with only 1000 miles. Yeeeessssss! Then he said your insurance covers up to $50 a day, this truck is almost double that, but Im going to waive the extra amount and you just pay for the taxes when you bring it back, oh & no need for a deposit Im going to waive that $200 too! Favor! Moral of the story: Speak it into existence! When Man says NO.....GOD says YES! I was driving that truck in less than a day, even if it was a rental! Well At least now Im up to a maybe one day! Ha! Ha! P.S. I wish you could have seen the officers face when I picked him up from the train station, he thought I got a new one! He said what did you??? I said the Lord sent it to me! It may not be mine YET, but that new car smell is what Im use to! WATCH HIM DO IT! Those Wilson kids need to graduate!☺
