I LIKE WHAT THIS LADY SAID. NATURE IS NOT SELFISH, HUMANS ARE! Nothing in nature lives only for itself, in all things they work for the whole of creation. The rain does not fall upon the earth to sustain itself nor to benefit itself, but instead serves others. It provides water to plants, animals, and man as well as filling the rivers and streams. Look at the rivers and streams, they collect rain water and keep the water continuously flowing through the earth and yet do not benefit from doing such. They cannot drink their own water nor do they benefit from it, instead they serve to provide a home for the fish and other water creatures as well as to store and give freely water to man and animals. Look at the trees and plants of the earth, they do not eat their own fruit nor use their own medicine. They serve the creatures and man who utilize them and in return their seeds are spread far and wide. Look at the sun, in simply being it provides not only heat for itself but for all things which live upon the earth. It does not keep burning only to sustain itself but shares for all to enjoy and benefit from. Look at the flowers, they emit such lovely fragrances not only for themselves but for all those around them. They attract insects which feed off of them and in return they are pollinated which gives to further life. They attract all with their enchanting scents and vibrant colors sharing with any who wish to appreciate them. So it is in nature that we find all things live not only for themselves but to serve one another. Nothing is selfish and in all things there is a prefect balance.
