A land where morning mist hugs the valleys and dales of the green earth kissing the warm waters of lakes, ponds and pools. A land where palm trees create black silhouettes against the pink tinged morning skies and purple clouds rise from the horizon like majestic mountains rising from a mystical sea. I live in a land of mystery and magic. A land where alligators lurk in marshes and lakes, rivers and streams. Where heron and stork, eagle and osprey soar in skies of blue so vivid it seems alive with light. A land where sand hill cranes strut majestically across lawns and fields in regal rule. I live in a land of mystery and magic. A land where sun and clouds, sunrise and sunset dance daily with raindrops and rainbows chasing moonbeams and stars across a sphere of space and time. A land where afternoon rains bring refreshing breezes and life giving moisture to succulent plants and thirsty wild flowers providing sustenance for iridescent dragonflies and yellow winged butterflies. A land of patriotic wasps and tiger striped snakes. A land of sunshine and storm, calm and wild winds. I live in a land of mystery and magic. A land with stinging ants and gentle love bugs, loud singing cicadas and buzzing no see ums. A land where birds and insects, sea life and humans flock to in escape of cold and dreary winter days. A land where summer days and autumn nights dwell together in unity most of the year and where sunshine reigns supreme and walking is a year round pleasure. I live in a land of mystery and magic….
