I LOOOOOVE my life! Im so grateful to have you ALL in it and deeply moved by all your contributions, here and in YOUR lives. Thanksgiving is my most favorite time of the year... and truth be told because I get to SEE YOU. So every day is Thanksgiving for me, BECAUSE I get to be witness to all your amazingness. Some of you know about my gratitude practice: Gratitude: A gift we can always afford to give. Gratitude is the sister of Acknowledgment, Acknowledgment is birthed by SEEING. This practice started when I was in my teens, with the recognition, that we think loving thoughts about others, yet often we do not share them. I believe that a kind, loving, or uplifting thought, we have about another person is a gift which truly belongs them... to the one we are thinking it about. It is not ours to keep, especially not when the recipient of our acknowledgment can greatly benefit for our share. I believe that our communities, families and relationships are built and thrive on Acknowledgment. It is a gift which we have the privileged to share with the person we are thinking it about. A Gift as well as the necessary life-sustaining ingredient which we can effortlessly give to one another. So... for years Ive practiced this belief by speaking it, today we have cards which are place holders of our gratitude.We can give them to those we honor, love and care about and they can in turn pass them on to others.... and so we get to connect in a deep and meaningful way, brighten our world and lift hearts.
