I LOVE Morgan Freeman! Always have...When I see him, I see my papa, but then I hear him talk and he says things that I either already do or adopt...I do my best not to use color, old, fat, skinny, any of those words that can be taken as offensive when referring to another with the kids. I dont want my kids growing up being offensive naturally. Scarlett referred to a man in a store as old. I told her that was rude. She asked me why before i could go on and I asked her if her Apa was Old. She said yes but he was apa. So I asked her if she was tell him he was old and she got wide eyed and said NO!, hes my apa. This tells me she knows somehow it might be hurtful so i told her that describing someone like that might hurt their feelings. She said I understand, mommy and as I stood up, the man was still there and I guess he stopped and listened because he gave me a nod as he pursed his lips. I took that as a compliment coming from someone from an older generation because things are so different now from then. We have to stop it. How come we cant just be light or dark and other variations. We are so mixed up with races that its not fair to classify someone when you dont really know.
