I LOVE photography. And something I ran into a lot in this article (besides the occasional sage and useless be yourself advice) was to find your PASSION/VOICE & shoot it, read a lot, and focus on more than just being a photographer -- love the medium (which I do -- more than I probably should). MY passion is photographing young children (aged 1-4) & couples (either without children or with young children). I found it interesting that literature and reading were mentioned soooo much in this article. I really need to explore the effect other art forms can have on my own in further detail. Whats awesome is that I used to want to BE a writer, but the adolescent passion I had for writing dwindled away, leaving only the love for photography. I need to find the passion for literature again. Photographer friends, and friends in general, whats YOUR passion?!
