I MISS THOSE DAYS.... 1. when parents used to carry th TV set when going to bed 2. when every T-shirt was called a skippa 3. when all snickers were called amataki 4. when every face towel was called spanki 5. when the master bedroom was called kukati 6. when the only form of desciplining at school was ifikoti 7. when parents didnt want you to wear new clothes during the week ati fyapa sunday. 8. when minced meat was mizz mit 9. when ice block was called aizi bloko, no maxcool. 10. when a bun was called ibanzi 11. when a scorn was called isikono 12. when not having bathed was red card from watching black and white TV 13. when we went to the roadside to watch cars and shout donki 14. when you were told wearing a red cloth in the rains was dangerous 15. when you bathed only during the day end, earlier than that was uleya kwisa 16. when you called every washing paste ati safu 17. when you called every coffee or coaco ati tea 18. when every cooking oil was saladi 19. when you burnt sugar to make tea 20. when you remove you shirt before fighting 21. when you watched Bruce Lee and felt like starting a fight so that you fight like him 22. when you got somebody from the streets to represent your parents at school especially when getting a report form 23. when every truck was a Lorry and as it passes ku bina 24. when we used to sit on the floor to watch TV ati ifipuna fyabakulu 25. when TV used to open at 17hrs and watch cartoon for 1hr only 26. when we used to play outside not munganda 27. when every talk show, documentary, discussion was ifyakulanda 28. when we slept after super no TV coz ninshi there is only ifyabakulu......Growing up in Zambia those days was fun... The list is endless................ Now teachers can we add some more...!!!!!!!!!
