I NEED YOUR HELP..… As many of you know, I do not make a habit of sharing very personal things here on Facebook, but today is an exception. Whether youve known me for a long time or weve just recently met I appreciate you taking time to read this ENTIRE post. My family is about to experience one of the most difficult things a family can face and we need your help. My mother, Velma, is suffering from liver failure and is now a candidate to receive a liver transplant. The national average cost for a liver transplant is over $550,000. Thank God, her insurance will cover a substantial portion of the cost but we still need to raise money for out of pocket expenses -- food, lodging, transportation to / from the transplant hospital (in Charleston, SC) and other incidentals and those costs not covered by insurance.
