I NEED YOUR HELP! Did you know I am going to Jail!? For GOOD? I am participating in the Puyallup Lock-Up on Thursday, Oct.24th at Charlie’s to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) South Sound. I’m sure you would love to see me stay behind bars, but I hope you will help me get out! My bail has been set at $2,400 – enough to send three local kids with Muscular Dystrophy to Summer Camp in Gig Harbor at Camp Seymour. But did you know that MDA helps more than just kids? The South Sound MDA serves 509 LOCAL FAMILIES affected by 43 different muscle diseases including ALS. MDA provides these families with lots of great services. Here is a quick summary of what your donation will help provide: $30 Pays for one life-saving Flu Shot $70 Funds ONE MINUTE of research to treat and cure Muscle Diseases $100 Pays for one support group session $200 Covers one MDA Clinic visit $500 One Durable Medical Equipment repair grant to a local family $800 Pays for one week at MDA Summer Camp in Gig Harbor!
