I Once Gave A Stranger $20 Who Came Into The Middle Of Our Church Service Asking For Help. He Promptly Got Up & Left Immediately After I Helped Him. The Next Friday He Called Me & Asked Me To Meet Him 5 Miles Down The Road At An Exxon Station So That I Could Give Him Some More Money! It Reminded Me Of The Time I Made The Mistake Of Passing Out My Church Cards When Preaching In A Large Prison. The Next Week My Wife Fielded About A Dozen Calls From Fellas Wanting Me To Come Bail Them Out! Even Though I Have To Laugh Out Loud At These Events,It Still Doesnt Discourage Me From Helping Others.Just Like Those Thousands Of Small Bugs I Used To Sweep Outta The Front Foyer First Thing Every Sunday Morning Last Summer When They Would Die There In The Presence Of Our Porch Lights,Were All Called To The Bug Ministry! The LORD JESUS Once Healed 10 Men All At Once Who Chased Him Down,But Only 1 Came Back To Thank Him. Im Glad That The Behavior Of The Other 9 Didnt Keep Him From Dying On The CROSS In Their Place & Ours! Maybe U Feel Like Theres People Lined Up 10 Deep Wanting Something From U,& 9 Of Them R Not Gonna Appreciate Your Efforts To Help Them. There Is No Need To Grunt,Groan,& Carry On When Your Kindness Is Not Reciprocated. Ungrateful People Who Have Both Feet Planted Firmly In Mid-Air Ought Not To Be The Cause Of Hardening Of The Attitudes On Your Part. Just Remember That U Cannot Be Used By Others If U R Useless! Continue To Be A Giver Cause Although Takers May Eat Better, Givers Always Sleep Better! Continue To Bless The Waitress,Open The Door For People,& Encourage People Far & Wide For No Reason At All Except Because U Love JESUS Too Darned Much Not To! Dont U Dare To Begin To Raise Hell Cause U Were Made To Praise GOD! A Great Day Is When U Help Someone Who Has No Chance Of Paying U Back...So Go Out There & Make It A Great Day!
