I Peter 2:24 “…by whose stripes ye WERE healed.” If you WERE healed by the stripes of Jesus, and we know that took place over 2000 years ago, then that means you’re in divine health today. Some folk have a hard time believing that they WERE healed and that means they have health. And this is because they have symptoms, or full blown sickness in their body, or they know someone who does. They see with their natural eye, and can’t believe the Word that they WERE healed. As long as you believe the symptoms and the sickness you’ll be sick, but health belongs to you if you agree with the Word, job 22:21. The Word of God in you must be bigger than the symptoms, or sickness in your body. Agreement with God’s Word, in spite of what’s going on in your body, is your faith. It’s faith to believe that by the stripes of Jesus you WERE healed, therefore, you’re in health even with symptoms yelling the opposite. Health belongs to the believer but it will take faith released every day to see the results of the stripes of Jesus manifest. (Mark 11:23-24) Faith comes by hearing and is released by saying. (Romans 10:17)
