I Pray I get Convicted!!! My Granny and I watched hours and hours of Law and Order SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT, probably one of our all-time favorite shows. In the show detectives were presented with a case such as a rape or homicide, and they would have to put their heads together to solve the case and get the accused convicted of the crime. Evidence was the key. Even if you knew who committed the crime evidence would need to be presented in order to get a conviction. When you think about this and your walk with Christ, does your life present enough evidence to prove that you’re GUILTY of being a CHRISTIAN? Does your life exhibit enough characteristics to get you an ETERNAL LIFE SENTENCE in HEAVEN? Christianity isn’t hard, but we sometimes like to make it hard. Christianity is truly about DO’s. Do you love Christ first before ANYTHING else? Do you have enough LOVE for CHRIST to sacrifice ANYTHING? He wants your complete love and loyalty. He doesn’t want your lukewarm half love. Do you give love and sacrifice for your fellowman? Your brothers, sisters, and family need to see GOD’s love pouring from his people. I wouldn’t want to be part of a team that lies, fights, and argues with those they say they love. Do you push your pride and selfishness back in order let GOD’s GLORY shine from the walk you have daily with believers and non-believers. People of this world are looking for you to be a living BIBLE, that’s really what’s meant by your life being a living testimony. It’s not about overcoming some hurtle, but it’s more about how you handle the hurtle and stride while going through that storm. So ask yourself today, is there enough evidence against you to get you an ENTERNAL LIFE CONVICTION with your Heavenly Father? Remember it’s not about the DON’TS it’s about the DO’s. DO LOVE, DO SACRIFICE, DO GIVE, DO CARE, DO WITNESS, and I promise that you’ll be convicted. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up. Acts 20:35 ESV In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” Matthew 7:21-23 ESV “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
