I Read something yesterday that really bothers me, someone whom - TopicsExpress

I Read something yesterday that really bothers me, someone whom claims to be a Christian says God does not intervene in our lives and does not intervene in medical cases. I strongly disagree!!! Ive had many answered prayers, have personally felt the complete fullness of peace of Christ and recognize His presence.... I know several who will tell you, he heard my prayers, and answered so why would someone go around stealing the faith of others? Ugh Why then do we pray for others? Where is your hope? Why are there many verses that say He watches over, tell us to pray for one another, and fill us with the hope of Christ? Someone once said the worst kind of Christian is a Facebook one...... Im starting to agree. Psalms 6:2 - Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I [am] weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed. James 5:15 - And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Matthew 10:1 - And when he had called unto [him] his twelve disciples, he gave them power [against] unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. James 5:16 - Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Luke 10:9 - And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you. Matthew 13:58 - And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief. Luke 5:17 - And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was [present] to heal them. Matthew 17:20 - And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Matthew 13:15 - For this peoples heart is waxed gross, and [their] ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with [their] eyes, and hear with [their] ears, and should understand with [their] heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. Ecclesiastes 3:11 - He hath made every [thing] beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. 2 Chronicles 7:14 - If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Hebrews 11:1 - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Luke 8:48 - And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace. Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Romans 9: 14What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. 15For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 16So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. 17For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. 18Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.
