I Request Telangana Govt should transfer Pension directly to bank accounts. People are being made to wait in long queues since as early as morning 6 AM, There is no arrangement for Water and toilets, Govt has to plan this pension distribution in community halls where there are basic facilities At some places pension is being distributed on busy roads by putting counters which is causing problem to traffic and people who have come to receive pension, other than this each division where there are 30 to 40 thousand people and just there is one or two counters for pension distribution , At a pension distribution counter in Baba Balak Das Mutt in Jali Hanuman people started protesting against officials and I had to intervene into the matter and I came to know that they is shortage of govt staff to handle so many people at pension counters, later I spoke to Nampally MRO and asked him to provide proper facilities to people and have enough staff for pension distribution , People also complained that new pension applicants are not receiving pension and as well as people who were receiving pension earlier were also not receiving pension, People had lot of hopes after new Telangana State, but sad to say that hopes are being shattered by the way this government is functioning, I have earlier told collector that pension should be directly transferred to the bank accounts of pension beneficiaries, so that people do not have to wait in long queues and it will also make Govt work easier.
