I.S.I. Presents International Sports Day Saturday, April 5 – 1:45 p.m. to 7 p.m. First Baptist Church, 511 Union Road, West Seneca, NY 14210 Competition in volleyball and table tennis. Basketball available after dinner. Table games for children and those who are athletically challenged we will have board games and activities, or you may bring your favorite board game. Also a “pot luck” supper, singing and a brief Christian talk. Volleyball: Teams of 6-8. Three members of each team must be international students. Two members of each team must be female. We will help form a team if you don’t have a full team. Teams will compete for the prize: 1st Place - $100 designated to the team’s choice SA Int Club or charity 2nd Place -$50 designated to the team’s choice SA Int Club or charity 3rd Place - $25 designated to the team’s choice SA Int Club or charity Table Tennis: Competition for men, women and mixed doubles. Prizes will be awarded to the winners. Schedule: 2:00 to 3:30 Volleyball and table tennis competitions 3:30 to 4:00 Singing, special performance and message 4:00 to 5:15 Volleyball and table tennis finale 5:15 to 6:00 Dinner (you can bring a dish or snack to share) 6:00 to 7:00 Basketball or other leisure activities Sign up - bring your registration form to the I.S.I. office, The Commons, #108-B before Wednesday, April 2. There is a $10 deposit for volleyball teams. Full deposit will be return when team signs in at the event. Deposit is non- refundable if the team no-shows. You may pick up a map to the competition site. This event will be held in the gymnasium of First Baptist Church, W. Seneca, about a 20 minute drive from U.B. South Campus. Sign up for transportation at the ISI Office. You must either wear sneakers which will not mark the floor or remove your shoes. Child care and activities will be provided. Note: you are welcome to bring a dish of food to share for the pot luck. The number of teams we can accommodate is limited, so be sure to sign up early.
