I SURVIVED! My first week presenting breakfast on a metro radio station is done. A week of 3.45am alarm calls on seriously cold mornings, but working with a great group of producers across the week, and a great station and team at 666 ABC Canberra. OK, Im so out of the breakfast radio habit that right now I feel a bit like a zombie, but I truly had a great time, and Id especially like to thank all the 666 listeners who took the time to tweet, email or text this week about how much they enjoyed the show. That meant more to me than anything, because as all my broadcasting friends know, people will line up to complain about anything, but more rarely write in with the positive stuff. Im really looking forward to next week. Ill experience much more civilised working hours - filling in on Drive!
