I Sit Here and Ponder As I sit here and ponder At the great wonders of the world Why is the universe on the whole not seen in this way? A few like me do see Our minds then wander From the minute to the enormity How can the human mind truly fathom the vast unknown? When our creator has only allowed for us to see what He so wills The swaying branches in this morning’s cold wind I see me donned in the shades of the leaves A green see enshrouded with light upon light A fabric so light and flowing As the leaves dance and shivering Almost dreamy yet aware of this constant Divinity Flowing waterfalls of my soul Oh, how do I explain? My love for Divine in a constant bloom The sheer intoxication of inhaling Grateful for every new day Basking in His Glory A meditation of awareness of my significance, however small A contribution of prayers and blessings As pebble, rippling and skipping through clear water The upward flow of the salmon to procreate Exhausting yet fulfilling their purpose How can I not appreciate these wonders? It is time ticking away As man destroy with their Medusa touch Nothing is safe while man shows no honour It pains me that everyone does not sit and ponder I pray, Oh how I pray for peace
