I.T.K- WE HAVE AN OPPOSITION THAT CANT SEE BEYOND ITS NOSE- I believe the pedestrian translation of opposition will be to do differently. But I doubt those who want Aso rock next year both as individuals or party really understand what it means to oppose politically. This is what I mean. A lot of times as a common person I always see opportunities I would have taken to increase political capital and goodwill from the people and I am shocked most times that those who should see such opportunities dont. I am worried because when someone is opposing he or she should be seen to be different. I give you an example. It has since been established that GEJ is not the prolific and quick to act type. He takes a long time to react to things or respond. One of his many sins is his lack of ability to instantly show support or remorse, sympathy and contact with victims of the terror that has befallen us. He most times does not see the opportunity to key into such sentiments even if to score political points. If I were him, I will not only observe a 1 minute silence for the boys that died in potiskum a day before his declaration, I will fly there first thing in the morning, see them in the hospital and come back to do a declaration. Or better still, I will compile the names of all the missing girls, the ones that died in the first school attack and these ones. Then take my time to call them one after the other as a mark of honour and tribute. Salute our gallant soldiers who have died then continue. That didnt happen. But that is not my issue. It seems that even the opposition cannot even think differently. Its been more than 78 hours since the bomb blast and neither GEJ nor the so called opposition have been to visit Potiskum (correct me if I am wrong) Even if its to score cheap political points the opposition should have done differently. Visit the state Government, victims in the hospital and assure them it will be different. But just like GEJ, APC the major opposition had a youth convention in Lagos same day Jonathan was declaring and Fashola and the rest were there talking about a new Nigeria. Just yesterday I believe, they all gathered in Edo to celebrate 6 years of Oshiomoles tenure, and ended up abusing the ruling party. I Wrote about no one from the opposition countering what GEJ claimed he had done in 3 years and El-Rufia releases a cartoon talking about insurgency. E.G JONATHAN CLAIMS HE HAS CONSTRUCTED 37 DAMS AND IS REFURBISHING 10 MORE (Which I believe because Sarah Ochepe is Minister of Water resources) Cant the opposition use their resources to disprove that. Send people or a team to verify these things, instead they are drawing cartoons. Look GEJ may seem like the worst President to some people, but I am worried about the ones waiting to take over.
