I, The Eari Wig would like to thank first and foremost thank the Eari-Wig Committee for their tireless year long work that they have inputted to achieve such a great outcome last night in the presentation of the 3 cheques.. Without this fantasitic group of people who work tirelessly throughout the year none of it would be possible. The fantastic support of the wider Church Street area is vital in sustaining this festival and the support of The People is so welcomed by all in raising significant monies to date. Please god the momentum is kept up and throughout the coming year, all people will support all fundraising activities that the committee instigate. A magnificent sum of £9,000 was distributed last night among 3 charities Childrens Heartbeat Trust. Southern Area Hospice and Parkinsons. After donating a large sum of money last night, we still want to ensure we can put over a festival next year with very little cost to families. For this we need ongoing support from The People. Please watch this page for fundraising and family initiatives to allow the festival to be cost friendly to families. Anyone interested being part of the committee, you are all welcome to attend the AGM on Monday 6th Ocober at 8pm in The Cavern. WE ARE THE PEOPLE!
