I WANT TO MAKE AMENDS WITH A SINCERE HEART. WRITTEN BY: ESTIE KOLESKY Dear Lord, fools mock at making amends for sin, but goodwill is found among the upright. I was seeking to put things right with the persons who have abused me emotionally. Not because it was fair, not because I hoped the other persons was going to reciprocate, but I wanted to make amends simply for the fact that I know it was healthy for me. Nobody is hundred percent at fault. They are not always the ones who start the arguments or cause the problems. There were times when my reaction did not help the situation. Whatever has been negative in our words, attitudes, and responses, we have to make the sincere attempt to change your ways and amend the wrongness. I approach them with the willingness to be appropriate from now on and not hold grudges or be hurtful or speak angry words. I’m sure that I’m being respectful and keeping my focus on You. When I do this, I chose to move forward in healing regardless of what the other persons does or says. I reject the wrong and choose the right.
