I Walked outside my condo building & found myself in the midst of a gaggle of geese... Grazing in the grass & honking in concerto... Just happy to be dining on what God had provided. There had to be nearly 50 or so, so the CONCERT was deafening (in a good way). Needless to say, These blissful herbivores blessed me tremendously. Surprisingly with this being so close to Thanksgiving, the geese were oblivious to my presence, unthreatened & exercising the faith that Gods had them covered. Its amazing that geese & humans can live in such close proximity without feeling threatened. We as humans could learn much from these animals. Were supposedly higher mental creations of God Almighty, yet we fight over oil, power, morality, and race relations. We kill at will because we feel threatened by persons of a different color, hiding behind the right to bear arms and the stand your ground laws. Seems to me that the animals with supposed lower mental capacity, have it all figured out! Your faith in God is all u have to concern yourself with. God will make provision & provide ALL the protection you need. Dont get me wrong, our harmonious living arrangement is not without setbacks. Sure, their excretions/deposits can be a bit much at times. So much so that it feels like Im navigating through a mine field when I walk the sidewalk/path trying to avoid the brownish-green matter that they so freely give. Avoiding the globs is a small price to pay for the admission to walk out my front door to Gods Gaggle of Geese Concert. I heard you Lord... Thanks for the song and the object lesson to increase my faith!
