I Was thinking tonight about how much I loved and had no fear of performing as a little boy.... I used to have those work out pants with buttons all along the sides that came undone for a quick removal.... and I used to do shows in my room using the closet doors as my curtains.... I would be wearing those pants in the beginning of the show, than quickly go "off stage" in my closet, rip the pants off, and have a completely different costume underneath... and "boom", a quick costume change was born. Or I would get a big box and get inside, put a blanket over me, and slowly rise up from it like I was rising from a trapped door up onto the center of a big stage.... I would practice and practice because it had to be just right. I dreamed big as a little boy and believed I could do anything. When did I lose that creativity and confidence. Where is that little boy that believed in himself and his ability to perform... This season of my life, my mission, to find that little boy Ethan inside. All I need is some cool button pants, a box to pop out of, and maybe a flashlight as my spotlight haha.
