I absolutely love sports and enjoy watching athletes compete at the highest level, but as I sit here and do this research for class, I look at how much they are being paid, especially the elite athletes of our time and its sickening. I look at professions like Teachers and and without a shadow of a doubt there is a disgusting disparity between pay rates. Its like this world has disregarded the importance of certain professions for entertainment. Teachers fighting to keep benefits and little pay increases and Im looking at a $31million dollar endorsement alone for Kobe Bryant which equals an arena full of teachers annual salaries. This worlds priorities are twisted beyond measure. Probably why were seeing the quality of teachers falling off...but that aint none of my business though.
