I absolutely love working my butt off all night to be told I was lazy and thats why I didnt leave on time. My thought is maybe its because I was doing what I was told to do and had to care for my patients also. Im sorry for taking five minutes on down time to read 3.5 pages of a textbook, thats so much worse than sitting on a computer. Not only did I not receive any help my last two hours, my floor preaches teamwork. I havent seen any teamwork for months. Its everyone get your own stuff done and if someone is behind let them go until they are almost caught up. Im so lazy at work that I pick up almost everyday I have off. Im not perfect and I have my off days that Im not working my best, but tonight was not one of them. And I was treated rudely. Its nights like this I want to find a new floor to go to. And thats sad because I loved the floor when I first started and wouldnt have complained about not getting off on time.
